Context

In Belarus, nonformal teacher learning opportunities were scarce. Most educators had access only to isolated workshops, with little chance to develop sustainable peer-to-peer learning practices.

Goal

Create an informal national-level platform where teachers could learn from each other and make knowledge sharing structured, effective, and scalable.

Our Approach

DrivED developed a comprehensive learning strategy and product ecosystem from the ground up. We piloted different formats — from peer-to-peer exchanges to online courses — and built a portfolio that combined flexibility with clear structure, enabling both scale and consistency.

Result

Reach: More than 10,000 teachers engaged — around 10% of all educators in the country.

Context

In Moldova, Armenia, and Belarus, ecological awareness initiatives were fragmented. There was no structured course that could engage civil society actors and educators across countries in a long-term, systematic way.

Goal

Develop a cross-country course on ecological awareness that would reach civil society leaders, teachers, and young people, and create a sustainable blended learning format for future use.

Our Approach

We designed and launched an online course with strong interactive elements: gamification, case-based assignments, and storytelling. The course fostered cooperation across countries, enabling participants to learn from each other while building a shared perspective on ecological challenges.

Result

Reach: 800+ learners, including leading trainers in nonformal education, teachers, librarians, and students.

The partner team later adapted the course into a blended format for long-term educational use.

Context

Civil society activists often hold valuable expertise but lack the tools to translate it into structured learning programs. Without support, their knowledge risks remaining limited to small groups rather than reaching wider audiences.

Goal

Enable activists to design and deliver their own courses — transforming personal expertise into accessible, high-quality learning products for their communities.

Our Approach

We created and facilitated a practical training program built around real course development. Participants worked step by step on their own topics, receiving guidance, feedback, and peer support. Across seven cohorts, activists learned how to move from raw expertise to fully designed educational offerings.

Result

• Reach: 7 cohorts of activists trained; nearly 70% launched their own courses.
• Impact: More than 1,000 learners engaged in diverse new courses — from first aid to gender equity in tech.
• Sustainability: Participants left with concrete products, skills in instructional design, and confidence to continue creating.
